I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that based on the sole requirement for the demographic of the desired responding audience that was listed within the request requiring respondents to be black (I'm assuming) it's probably a poll to see the possible percentage of different races on the platform.

How about Threads? I mean ultimately at the end of the day it is still technically Meta, but for a little while after I initially found it I could pretend it was some new cool place I'd stumbled into on the other side of town I never get to. But then after a couple months of checking in a few times a week and reading a dozen or two posts I noticed it honestly seemed like a huge swarm of Fake, AI created profiles just posting random shit most of while had either a subtle troll flavor to them all the way to down right inflammatory posts made obviously just to kick dirt into someone's mouth.
