Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you might want to know about Rova, the ad-free, algorithm-free social network.
What is Rova?
Rova is an ad-free, bot-free social network with a strictly chronological feed. The people who follow you see everything you post, in order, no algorithm deciding who gets to see your work.
How much does Rova cost?
Rova is free for 7 days, then $1.99/week. You add a card up front to start the trial, but you are not charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel anytime.
Why does a social network charge a subscription?
Because members pay, advertisers do not, which means there is no incentive to run ads, track you, or bury your posts to sell your reach back to you. The $1.99/week keeps Rova aligned with you instead of advertisers.
Is the feed really chronological?
Yes. Your “Following” feed is the accounts you follow, newest first. There is no ranking and no “suggested for you” mixed into it. We also have a Discover tab if you want to find new people.
Are there ads?
No. Rova has no ads and no ad tracking.
What about bots and fake followers?
Rova is built to be bot-free. Every like, comment, and follow comes from a real person who actually saw your post.
Can I make my account private?
Yes. A private account means only your approved followers can see your posts, both on your profile and on individual post links.
How do I get more people to see my posts?
Post consistently, follow and engage with real people, and share your profile, every Rova profile has a QR invite card you can post to your story. Because the feed is chronological, your followers actually see what you share.
How do I cancel?
Go to Settings, then Membership, and press Cancel membership. That is all it takes, and you do not need to delete your account to stop being charged. You keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you can press Resume any time before then if you change your mind.
Is my data sold?
No. Rova does not sell your personal data. See our Privacy Policy for the details.
