Live Gifting Community Rules

Effective October 3, 2026 · Part of the Rova Gold Terms

These rules add to the Rova Community Guidelines for live streams where gifts are turned on. Gifts are a way for viewers to say thank you. They should never be taken through pressure, deception or harm. These rules apply to creators, co-hosts, moderators and viewers.

1. No begging or pressure

• Don't pressure, guilt, shame or harass viewers into sending gifts.
• Don't stage fake emergencies, fake illness or fake hardship to get gifts.
• Don't run streams whose main purpose is asking for gifts. Rova may limit how those streams are shown.
• Don't use countdowns, threats to end the stream, or “I won't do X unless someone gifts” to extract gifts.
• Thanking people and setting a friendly goal is fine. Demanding is not.

2. Gifts can't buy anything

• Don't offer or deliver anything in exchange for gifts: no sexual or explicit acts, no private shows, no personal contact details, no “gift for a follow-back”, no promises of content.
• Gifts are not payment for services. Paid commissions, coaching or products must not be sold through gifts.

3. No minors

• You must be 18 or older to send gifts, buy Gold, or receive gifts.
• Don't feature anyone under 18 in a live stream that has gifts turned on, and never solicit gifts on behalf of a minor.
• If someone under 18 appears to be sending gifts, report it. We'll turn off their gifting.

4. No gambling, raffles or giveaways tied to gifts

• No raffles, lotteries, sweepstakes, prize draws, “spin the wheel”, or any game of chance where sending a gift is an entry or improves the odds.
• No giveaways of money, Gold, gift cards or prizes that require sending gifts.
• No betting on outcomes, and no “gift to vote” contests with a cash or cash-equivalent prize.
• Free, skill-based fun with no prize of value is fine.

5. No off-platform payments

• Don't ask viewers to pay you outside Rova (Cash App, Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, crypto, gift cards or similar) during a live stream or in its chat.
• Don't offer to “convert” Gold or Carats to cash, or to sell Gold, Carats or accounts.
• Don't share payment handles, QR codes or links for payments in a stream or its chat.

6. No gaming the system

• No sending gifts to yourself, or between accounts you control or that are linked to you.
• No coordinated gifting rings, gift trading (“I'll gift you if you gift me”), or using other people's accounts or payment methods.
• No using stolen cards or unauthorised payment methods.
• No restreaming someone else's content to collect gifts.

7. Respect gifters

• Don't reveal the identity of anyone who chose to gift anonymously.
• Don't mock or single out people who don't gift.

8. What happens if rules are broken

Depending on how serious it is, we may remove the stream, turn off gifting for the stream or account, reverse gifts and Carats, hold earnings while we review (always with a human review and a written reason), suspend or close accounts, and report illegal activity to the authorities. You can appeal by emailing [email protected].

9. Report it

Use Report on the stream, the chat message or the profile. Reports about minors, exploitation or fraud are reviewed first.
